Norm`s Pizzazz in Grimshaw

Amazing. Great food, small simple atmosphere, booths and tables. decor is very nice, with local artist paintings on the walls. Norm is the owner and stops by checking up on the meals, staff is friendly and very nice. Ordered taco salad and beef barley soup, soup came out almost immediately, then the salad perfectly timed. Finished off with apple pie and ice cream.

Stopped in from out of town to see family. Was a great experience, waitress and owner were incredibly friendly and pleasent. Food was amazing. Would definitely recommend this. Look forward to our next visit.

Good old fashion dinerNice home cooked meals. Generous portions for those who like that. Egg salad sandwich was nice balance of mayo and egg. Very fillling. The smoked meat sandwich is very good but needs either a thicker cut of bread that doesn't fall apart when you try to eat it or a bagel. The poutine side is very generous with its curds.

Friendly staff , great service and good food

Breakfast was great. Waitress kept coffee steaming. Very pleasant atmosphere. Worth the $$$ as apposed to a fast food joint. Come on!

Great lil place to stop in or just get some take out. variety of food you can order on the main menu. take out menu a lil smaller, simple & basic, if had some thing at the restaurant.Great chance you can get it on take out as well, just ask. As for taste. Well doesn’t taste like your average typical restaurant taste. I feel, its got a unique ma n pa restaurant taste that’s fresh.With fantastic meal portion size. along with good variety of desserts ( if you got a sweet tooth.) As well a variety of bevarges ( juice,pop& beer.)With great friendly staff in a nice set environment & art posted around the restaurant ( some done by local artist’s.)as well as televisions set up around the place .The wait time is reasonable & the restaurant cleanliness is great. I’ve expirenced.Any reasonable issues comes up on a order, they resolve the issue. Curious on checking it out,staying a night in town or just passing thru.Instead of just reading about it, stop by n expirence it for your self & enjoy. 😉

excellent food and great service.

The difference between AM and supper is night and day. In the morning the food is on par and waitress is the best! Supper time is super inconsistent. The waitress is friendly but every time we've ordered take out it's been a different experience. Although we order the same thing, you don't know if you will be getting delicious pizza or thin warm pizza. Last time we got S&P wings we had to scrape off the salt because they were ridiculously salty.

The food is excellent and good service

Norm's is one of those "go to" places when you are looking for a great meal at a good price. Their smoked meat sandwich is the best in the North or South Peace and their poutine propels my Quebec born wife back home every time she eats there. Their Hawaiian pizza keeps me coming back with a great crust and consistent great quality.

Great little pizza joint with warm atmosphere and friendly staff! Just in Grimshaw for a couple of days for work and stopped in here for a bite to eat. I ordered a medium House pizza, which was delish! Fresh toppings, crust that had a “just right” crunch on the bottom. I was pleasantly surprised and will definitely pass the word along and also stop when in town again. Great job Norm’s family!! It’s always a pleasure to find a gem in a small town when away from home.

We had an experience where one night, we ordered some pizzas and when we got there, they said they had burnt the pizza so they were making them again. 20 minutes later, for compensation, they were going to give us a 2 litre pop. However, they didn’t have a two litre pop so we took some cans of pop. After taking almost an hour from ordering the pizza, we got home, and THE PIZZA WAS BURNT. Very disappointed.

The only place in the region that makes a decent eggs benny. Mmmmm

Went for the first time today. The Eggs Benny's we're delicious. Clean place and our server was nice.

Norm's serves up excellent quality food, matched with great service with a smile. Always friendly and they make you feel as part of the family.

Best pizza in all of Alberta, I still have dreams about it, I wish I could move to Grimshaw for this alone

Worst pizza I have ever had and pricey too. Cardboard crust. Never tried any of thier other food but I know I will never order pizza from here ever again.

Had a steak there once, raw and rare are two different things! The cook said and I quote “they come frozen so I can’t tell”. Waited to go back for another try, ordered wings and pizza. Five wings so sad, I guess peace river it is for now on.

The Donaire was great! Hamburger was a black puck.

Can always find something on the menu that looks good, and am SO happy to have the espresso machine close by.

I only give it two stars because of the front end staff who are never given recognition or a dissent wage when will owners of restaurants realize that it is not their fault thay have to serve food that was not ordered cold overcooking or undercook late ect
